Internet Spider or Tarantula?

The more I learn; the less I know. This "web" is humongous...or however you spell it. I have heard that everyone in the world is connected through a network of 6 people – that everyone I know knows so many other people, and so on, and so on, that we’re ALL connected in one way or another. Not too shocking when you think about it. Same way with the internet.
Technology keeps expanding....we keep linking....the webs grow deeper. In an earlier blog, we mentioned adding links from our websites through Alexa. I’ve been studying "Articles" lately and how that can increase your online presence. Both writing them, and adding them to your websites. This is an interesting study for me. More on that in another post a bit later.

My Blogging purpose is to share information with you as I learn and grow in developing my online business. Of my several websites, two of them include articles. One is http://WatchYourDiet.net I am now working with my web designer of that site to increase revenues. I’m thinking that the authors of the articles would be happy to mention my site because that’s a win/win for both of us. So that might be an extensive communication project, but feel it will be worth the effort.

My other site with articles: http://NetSearching.org has actually created problems for my hosting company. Now get this....BECAUSE...it is considered to be a search engine! How huge is that? Talk about a spider turning into a tarantula! Wow! I had no idea. So actually that site is down right now because my poor hosting guy didn’t realize that either and it violated his contract ..ouch! I bought this website on Ebay, then it was up to me purchase a domain name and find a hosting company. I’m telling you all this so you can learn as I’m growing! Some of these things I call lessons I didn’t even really want to have to learn! This site is considered to be a search engine because when anyone clicks something on that site a request is sent out to the whole internet to find the latest and greatest info for what was clicked. Now, is this AWESOME or what? WOW! Now I appreciate this site even more. And the power of the internet....and the rapid expansion of technology.

Every tiny little post to promote is like adding one drop of water to the ocean. "Maybe" every little drop helps, that is, if it doesn’t evaporate before I get enough of those drops in there quickly enough to create any volume. Obviously I’m looking for ways to open streams into the ocean. If you have found some nice "streams" that you’d like to share, post them here at: http://ResourceCentral.blogspot.com ( I mean information we can ALL benefit from, not just a link to promote your website.) Feel free to ask questions....this blog is for conversations!

Happy Spidering!
