Virtual Reality -

I was reading my magazine, “The Economist” and the article about “Living a Second Life.” A Professor of Psychiatry wanted his students to be able to “see” what it’s like to have schizophrenia so he downloaded some free software and entered the Second Life...a metaphysical universe.

Anyway, curious soul that I am, I had to go check this out. The website was designed in 2003 by Linden Lab. Anyone can have a FREE account. I became Vera Dumont....got to select my new body...and there I am, along with a population of over 375,000 other people! Now this is going to take some time for me to figure out the whole thing. But, wow, the scope of internet business has definitely entered the space age! Boy, do I feel antiquated! You snooze, you loose!! ( http://secondlife.com )


And, My Space is the hottest website for the younger set, so it’s a fabulous place to advertise. You can have a FREE account there too. In fact, you must be a member for at least a week before you can post a classified. But, it is something to consider because their membership is HUGE.....everybody knows about MySpace.com.
