This is the link I found in a Herculist post. It is $24.95 to subscribe and be able to post once a day. I thought that was good...but... In a few days when I posted, there was a note across the top for me to receive a free upgrade....which delighted me! Now I can post as frequently as I please with as many ads as I’d like. I don’t know"

If I said something as wierd as "Every Month a Million"
could you honestly "believe" something as far out and wierd as that?

Virtual Reality -

I was reading my magazine, “The Economist” and the article about “Living a Second Life.” A Professor of Psychiatry wanted his students to be able to “see” what it’s like to have schizophrenia so he downloaded some free software and entered the Second Life...a metaphysical universe.

Anyway, curious soul that I am, I had to go check this out. The website was designed in 2003 by Linden Lab. Anyone can have a FREE account. I became Vera Dumont....got to select my new body...and there I am, along with a population of over 375,000 other people! Now this is going to take some time for me to figure out the whole thing. And, My Space is the hottest website for the younger set, so it’s a fabulous place to advertise. You can have a FREE account there too. On a totally different subject, but something I want you to think about -

If you knew for sure that today would be the last day of your life, what would you want to be sure that you did today?

Everyone who knows me knows I encourage everyone to have a "To do before I die list" - actually for several reasons. One is that how can you know where you're going if you don't have a plan? Secondly, it's exciting to be able to scratch something off your list. Thirdly, and maybe most importantly, so you won't miss out on anything that's really important to you.

It's very pleasurable to roll the plans around in your brain. In fact, the more often you "visualize" them with clarity and emotions, you are actually "magnetizing" them to yourself.

Living in the moment, and treasuring every moment of life has always been my MO (mode of operation). I asked friends and relatives if they throught I was "different" having survived cancer twice now, and they too felt that my core hasn't changed...I always relished every morsel of life.

I know for a fact that I magnetized my rental condo with a hot tub on the patio. I know for a fact I magnetized various jobs. I know for a fact I magnetized my 3 week tour of the east coast with the highlight being Vermont in the fall. And I could go on, and on.

Sometimes I think I've gotten in my own way with some of my negative thoughts and fears. Whenever I have been very clear about what I wanted exactly, it seems to appear. In the same manner, whenever I have been emotionally fearful of something, that also appeared in my life.

One of my favorite books of all time is "TNT - the Power Within You" In fact, a paragraph on page 70 states "..this creative power operates like a magnet. Give it a strong, clear picture of what you want and this creative power starts to work magnetizing conditions about you - attracting to you the things, resources, opportunities, circumstances and even the people you need, to help bring to pass in your outer life what you have pictured!"

TNT: The Power Within You

There is a phrase we've all heard - "Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it." So what DO you want? Think about it.

...... only 79 Days until Christmas!

What does that mean to you? I know you’re saying “I don’t want to hear about it!” Well, you may not want to “hear” about it...but people are NOW shopping for it....they start in September. Some people actually shop slowly all year taking advantage of sales. For the most part, people start in September, but don’t want to talk about it, and don’t want to “hear” about it nor see it in the stores until Halloween is over. In fact, it’s irritating to see Santa along side pumpkins! Nevertheless, people ARE shopping for Christmas now...so how are YOU going to garner your part of that market?

If you are a Retail Merchant, you’ve been gearing up for it all year long because that’s when you make over 60% of your sales and that income keeps you going until the next Holiday Season.

If you are an online merchant, you still have shopping seasons and trends.

People are going to shop for the holidays...that’s a fact. How can you make their holiday shopping more pleasant for them? The ease of shopping with you from home? Better prices? Unique gifts? Think about it. But don’t think too long. Everybody wants a piece of this pie! You can get your “piece” by being creative....so, there’s that word again!

Personally, my gift giving last year was a thrill for me. For the first year, in additional to the gifts I gave my immediate family members, I gave each one a donation in their honor to a charity that was dear to them. My son has always had compassion for the Homeless, so I sent a donation in his honor to the Denver Rescue Mission and he fed 35 homeless people Christmas dinner. (We lived in Denver for six years, and seeing the homeless people tortured him.) My granddaughters have always donated to the Feed the Children Fund, so that group received a donation in their names. My daughter supported me through Cancer, so the Cancer Center received a donation in her name to support cancer patients. My son-in-law’s gift donation was for tree planting and maintenance in the US forests, because he’s an avid outdoor sportsman. They still got personal gifts....but we all felt warmed by our gifts of giving and sharing with others.

The web is, well, all-encompassing....and you know that. So how can YOU use it - your websites - to impact the world this year? How can YOU make the Holiday Season a more relaxed, blessed, and peaceful time of year? Just think about it.
